Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of slatecraft.si (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

The Service lets you upload images and voice clips, describe a scene in text, and receive AI-generated videos. Generation is performed by third-party AI models, currently Vidu Q4 Preview accessed through Vidu's official API. The Service is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Vidu or ShengShu Technology.

AI output is probabilistic. Results can differ from your prompt, contain artifacts, or alter elements you did not ask to change. We do not guarantee any particular result.

Your Account

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. One person may not create multiple accounts to get around limits or to abuse refunds.

Your Content

You keep the rights you have in the images, audio and text you upload ("Input") and, to the extent permitted by law, in the videos the Service generates for you ("Output"). You grant us a limited licence to store, process and transmit your Input and Output, including to our AI model providers, only as needed to run the Service.

You confirm that you own or have permission to use every Input you upload, including the consent of every identifiable person who appears in it or whose voice it contains. You are responsible for your Input and for how you use the Output. Do not remove or hide labels that identify a video as AI-generated where the law requires them.

Prohibited Use

You must not use the Service to create or upload:

• Sexual content involving minors, or any sexual or intimate content depicting a real person without their consent.
• Content that impersonates a real person in order to deceive, defraud, harass or defame, including deepfakes of public figures presented as real.
• Content that infringes copyright, trademark or other rights of others.
• Content that promotes violence, terrorism, hate or self-harm, or that is otherwise illegal.
• Spam, malware, or attempts to probe, overload or bypass the Service's limits and security.

We and our model providers may block prompts or uploads, refuse or remove Output, and suspend accounts that break these rules. Credits spent on blocked requests may not be returned when the request violated these Terms.

Reporting Abuse

Videos are private to the account that made them; we do not publish users' videos. If you believe content made with the Service violates these Terms or your rights — including images or a voice of you used without your consent — email support@slatecraft.si with the details. We review reports within 2 business days, remove violating content, and may suspend the accounts involved. We may review a video and its inputs when investigating a report.

Credits and Payments

Generations consume credits. The number of credits per generation depends on the resolution and the video length, and is shown before you generate. Credits from one-time packs expire as stated at purchase. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. Prices are shown in US dollars and may include applicable taxes. Credit packs are one-time purchases; nothing renews automatically. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

If a generation fails because of a technical error on our side or our provider's side, the credits for that generation are returned automatically.

Availability and Changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue features, models or prices. Material changes to paid plans will be announced before they take effect. The Service depends on third-party providers and may be unavailable from time to time.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Unused credits on a terminated account are forfeited when termination is due to a violation.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
